We source 100% pure French Linen, certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 — an internationally recognized guarantee that our fabrics contain no harmful substances, making them safe for newborns and sensitive skin alike. Every piece is pre-washed to minimize shrinkage to just 2–3%, so your linen arrives soft and ready to love from the very first night.

High on the rocky plateau of Ha Giang, H'Mong women still grow hemp plants, spin yarn, dye with indigo, and weave fabric the same way their ancestors did for centuries. SCANDALINEN is the bridge that brings this living treasure to the world.

We source traditional hemp fabric directly from H'Mong, Muong, Thai, and Ede ethnic artisans — no middlemen, no exploitative pricing. Their hand-embroidered motifs, unique to each community, are integrated into our contemporary linen bedding collections, creating genuinely one-of-a-kind pieces that exist nowhere else on earth.

Every embroidered pillowcase you purchase puts sustainable income directly into the hands of a woman in Dong Van or Meo Vac — someone keeping an ancient craft alive so her children can inherit it.

Our People — The Soul Behind Every Stitch

Our workshop team is made up of master sewers with decades of experience men and women who once worked in Vietnam's largest garment export factories, only to be pushed out of the job market before the age of 50. Highly skilled, deeply experienced, yet deemed "too old" by multinational corporations chasing lower costs.

SCANDALINEN gave them a new place to stand. Not a production line with suffocating quotas, but a small handcraft workshop in Hanoi where nearly skilled artisans channel everything they know into each piece.
