Find a cover for your insert
- For 100% linen: shop French linen duvet covers and sets. Our French linen fabric is 165–175 GSM.
- For a bamboo-linen blend: view the White 70% Bamboo Rayon / 30% Linen Duvet Cover. This listing includes one cover; check the size selector for its dimensions.
- For a size not listed: send the insert width × length, preferred fabric and colour, quantity and destination before ordering.

Duvet sizes in cm: why country labels are not enough
These examples show how dimensions vary; they are not a universal size chart or a list of SCANDALINEN stock options. Always compare the actual insert with the selected product.
- Australia: an Australian King quilt cover may measure 245 × 210 cm. New Zealand labels can differ; Sheridan labels this dimension NZ Super King.
- United States: Queen dimensions vary by maker. Examples include 90 × 90 inches (228.6 × 228.6 cm) and Full/Queen covers at 90 × 96 inches (228.6 × 243.84 cm).
- United Kingdom: King inserts can be labelled 225 × 220 cm or 230 × 220 cm, depending on the maker. Read the actual measurements.
- European ranges: dimensions such as 200 × 200 cm and 240 × 220 cm are available, but there is no single size naming system covering every country and brand.

How to measure before you order
- Lay the insert flat and smooth it gently without stretching it.
- Measure width and length from edge to edge and record the units.
- Compare your measurements with the cover’s listed dimensions and the insert maker’s guidance.
- If the fit is uncertain, send a photograph of the tape and ask us before buying. Do not automatically add a fixed allowance.
Check what the price includes
A duvet cover is the removable outer cover. It does not include a duvet insert unless the listing explicitly says so. Sets can include different combinations of sheets and pillowcases; check the exact contents and pillowcase dimensions before adding to your basket.
Using two separate duvets on one bed? Measure each insert and choose a cover for each, rather than buying one large cover based on the bed size.
Custom-size linen duvet covers
If your insert sits between listed sizes, ask about a made-to-measure cover. We will confirm feasibility, finished dimensions, available fabric and colour, price and timing. Oversized or unusual constructions need confirmation; we do not assume every size can be made without seams.
Our French linen fabric is 100% linen, 165–175 GSM, and OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certified. That certification statement applies to the French linen fabric, not automatically to bamboo-linen blends or fillings.

- Check fastening details on the individual listing.
- Follow the product care instructions; natural linen may change dimensions with washing and drying.
- Allow approximately 3–4 weeks from ordering to arrival, including making and international shipping. Confirm custom requirements and deadlines with us.
