Wash bedding before the first fitting and follow the care label for your fabric. French linen is stonewashed and may shrink 2–5%. Linen bamboo rayon may shrink 10%; the linen bamboo 30/70 blend may shrink 2–3%.

Check the composition in this product’s description. Read the fabric care guide or ask us about your item before washing if you are unsure.

Sizing Guide

Choose by measurements, not by size name alone. US, Australian/New Zealand, UK and European sizes can differ.

For duvet covers: measure the width and length of your duvet insert.
For fitted sheets: measure your mattress width, length and full depth, including any topper.
For pillowcases: measure the pillow insert.

Use the size chart and options in this product’s description. Check the pieces included and any shrinkage notes before ordering. If your measurements are not listed, contact scandalinen@gmail.com before checkout so we can confirm the fit and price.

Please Wash Before First Use

  • Wash before use: This fabric shrinks approximately 10% after the first wash. If used before washing, the cover will feel loose and oversized; this is completely normal.
  • Side seams: Due to the narrow width of bamboo linen fabric, all duvet covers and flat sheets feature two seams along the sides. These are neatly flat-stitched; a structural characteristic, not a defect.
  • Texture change: New fabric has a subtle natural sheen from the bamboo rayon content. After washing, it softens into a relaxed matte finish; the true character of bamboo linen.
